Jeff started CrossFit LionHeart in State College, PA in 2011. Jeff initially moved to Key West to help open the local Ben & Jerry’s franchise, but quickly realized it was a mistake to leave behind his career in fitness. Opportunistic luck put Jeff in the right place at the right time to take on a bigger role at CrossFit Mile Zero. Something he’s grateful for every single day.
Over the years Jeff has worked with the Penn State Women’s Soccer Team, sent a team from CrossFit LionHeart to the CrossFit Mid-Atlantic Regionals, watched two of CrossFit LionHeart’s athletes go to the CrossFit Games, has helped more than 50 athletes transition from high school to collegiate athletics, and has worked with more than 1,000 athletes in the sport of CrossFit over the last 10 years.
Jeff is passionate about health and fitness. He strives to help individuals break the molds of what they believe they’re capable of, attaining the next level of fitness. Whether that’s an athlete trying to make it to the next level or the average Joe trying to look better naked.
A former runner, when not at the box you can likely find Jeff on foot around the island. He enjoys the warm weather, listening to music and people watching on Duval, catching every sunrise/sunset he has the chance to, and is generally in awe he gets to call this island and community home.
